Review: Girls Deluxe Toy Story 3 Jessie Costume for Halloween

It is now 2 months to Halloween, and I already got the perfect trick or treat costume for my little girl! I got her a Jessie toy story costume from and I think this is so far the best priced Jessie costume I have seen online. The main reason I got this costume for my little girl is that she is a huge fan of Toy Story film and I know she would be happy with it, and I was right! I showed it to her when I got it and I can see her face full of excitement! I had to be honest the costume is fair enough when it comes to quality, price, and durability. The costume is an officially licensed Disney Toy Story costume; it is a jumpsuit with a silky satin feel made of thin light breathable polyester material. The belt as well as both cuffs are attached to the jumpsuit, so no matter how active a child is during Halloween, you are rest assured that no bits and pieces will fall out of it.

There are also some details like fringes on the cuffs and legs, as well as the printed champs on the legs were all carried out nicely on the costume. Plus, it also came with a lovely red hat made of some sort of Styrofoam with a white stitch trim made of the same material and a yellow bow for the hair, just like what Jessie the cowgirl got in the Toy Story film. As far as pricing is concerned, this Deluxe Toy Story 3 Jessie Costume does not cost a lot! In fact from the website where I got it, it only cost $31.96 plus $4.99 shipping which is the cheapest one I have seen online! I honestly did not bother to find it in the high street as I know for the fact that most of the girls Halloween costumes like this would cost twice as much as on the internet. Anyway, the costume is recognizable as Jessie the cowgirl from the toy story film and I have a very happy little girl here who does look stunning on this costume!

Here are some photos of the said Deluxe Toy Story 3 Jessie Costume:

Fruit and vegetables for toddlers

Fruit and vegetables contain lots of vitamins, minerals and fibre. They could even liven up your child's meal with their variety of colours, textures and favours that is why it is recommended by doctors and other health professionals, that parents should introduce lots of different types from an early age whether fresh, frozen, canned, or dried, it does not really matter! Just try to ensure that your child have fruit and vegetables regularly.

Different fruit and vegetables contains different vitamins and minerals, so the wider range your toddler eats the better. But do not worry if your child will only eat one or two types. He or she will learn to like them by having small taste frequently.

List of Rental Properties in Calgary Canada

For whatever type of property you are looking for, I suggest that you check out This website is one of the best online rental properties I have seen and it only caters specifically to the beautiful city of Calgary Canada. Now, what makes this property rental special? Well as a person who currently is looking for a property to rent, I have noticed that this particular website has ticked everything I want to find out in renting a property and it has made my search a lot easier. Well to give you an idea of how it goes, they got a map of Calgary and next to it you will see the names of towns.

So, you can either click on the map to choose your desired location or click on the specific name of town. After that, you will see lists of properties for rent on the area, with their photos, description and price per calendar month. So all you have to do is browse down your mouse and look at the photos and description. You can click on the title of the property, if you found ones that interest you, and then check the details carefully.

You can also view the availability of the place, name and contact number of the agent or maybe the owner, additional features of the property along with the appliances that would come with it. Absolutely brilliant! Tell you, this is a lot easier than reading the classified ads on the newspaper and it would not cost you anything to have a look, so give it a go, you might find it useful as well!

How much milk does a toddler needs?

This is what I noticed with my little girl, at the age of 1 she starts to drink less milk as already is eating solid foods like vegetables, cooked meats, noodles, and some finger foods which does keep her full most of the day. I did worry for a bit, but when I started to switch her milk to a toddler’s milk, it does have a label at the back that says after 12 months it is recommended that a child drinks around 500ml of milk per day. So usually that would be around 2 to 3 servings of milk in a day. If you are still worried, cheese can also be a good alternative. Hope this helps.

Cup or beaker: Which one is best for toddlers?

Ever wonder which one is best for your child? Is it a cup or a beaker? Well, I did ask the same question to a health visitor, the nurse that was assigned to come and check my baby’s health and development every month and I got this information from her.

A free flow lidded beaker is better than a bottle or beaker with teat, for the reason that drinks flow very slowly through a teat and drinking can take a long time. This means your child spends a lot of time with teat on the mouth which may delay speech development and damage his or her teeth, especially if your child is drinking sweetened milk. It is also advisable to move on from a lidded beaker to drinking from a cup as soon as your child is ready. A non-spill or valve cups are not recommended as they encourage longer drinking times, so use a lidded free flow cups instead, so your toddler will learn to sip.

Whether its cups or college, the more you know, the better off you'll be. Classes through early childhood education online degree would be beneficial to any family.

Tips to stay safe online from scams and Identity fraud

These are just some tips I gathered from several government website as of how to stay safe online and protect you from identity fraud as I have noticed that lately there has been an increase of email scams that would lead to identity fraud.

• delete suspicious-looking emails without opening them
•If you opened an email, Do not open any attachments. Attachments may contain malicious code that will infect your computer.
• Do not click on any links.
• keep a good firewall on your home computer
• don't use the same password on all websites
• refuse to give personal information to any company that emails or calls you unexpectedly
• keep your credit card within view when paying at restaurants or shops
• don't respond to emails that seem to be from your bank asking you to 're-enter' your personal details; your bank will not ask you to do that
• don't buy online unless you see the golden padlock on the payments page, and a web address beginning with 'https'
• install all security updates and 'patches' offered by your computer software company.

Other drinks that are not suitable for babies and young children

Citrus fruit juices- such as orange juice or grapefruit juice, are not a good source of vitamin C, but also contain naturally present sugars which can cause tooth decay. They are acidic too, so it should not be given to babies under 6 months of age.

Squashes, fizzy drinks, flavored milk and juice drinks- filling up on too much of these drinks can cause poor appetite, poor weight gain and in toddlers loose stools. These are unsuitable for young babies. If you want to give squashes, flavored milk, and juices drinks keep them for mealtime in a feeder cup and make sure all juices are diluted well. Fizzy drinks are very acidic and can damage a toddler’s tooth enamel and most health professionals do not recommend fizzy drinks to toddlers. I am a mother and honestly I sometimes give fizzy drinks to my 3 year old, but I think moderation is always the best way.

Baby and herbal drinks- these are also not recommended as advised by a health visitor as they contain sugars and their use is not recommended.

Tea and coffee- not suitable for babies and young children as they can reduce iron absorption and if sugar is added it could contribute tooth decay.

Get to know Thailand and the beauty of silk at VIE Hotel Bangkok

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Syndacast for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

A good friend of mine has just got back from a holiday in Thailand and she was telling me about how wonderful her experience was on the entire holiday. It was her first time to visit Thailand and I was glad that she had such a wonderful time as I did recommend Thailand to her as one of Asia’s best travel destination! I have been there 3 years ago with my family and I just love everything about Thailand, from the glorious weather, beautiful people, stunning scenery and temples, like The Grand Palace and the Temple of Wat Phra Kaeo to the tasty Thai cuisine. Everything is just worth coming back!

Anyway, this friend of mine has mentioned something that I missed when I was last there, the tour to Thailand’s famous silk house! I heard so much about it from my friend that on my next holiday in a couple of months I intend to go there with my family. Did all my research as of where to go, what to do, and found this lovely place to stay called The VIE Hotel Bangkok.  The hotel itself looks superb and currently has a remarkable package deal which includes a tour to the famous Jim Thompson House - the Thai silk house in Bangkok.

The package includes a silky consultant, grand breakfast at VIE Wine and Grill, complementary day pass for the sky train, a lovely deluxe room and deluxe suit accommodation with 2 garments per day laundry or dry cleaning service and best of all, 2 complementary luxurious VIE silky cushion covers! Aside from this, they are also giving away discounts on laundry, dry cleaning and on the food and beverages services! The hotel itself has free wifi Internet access at the VIE lounge but can also get this in the hotel room from just 250 Baht each day. This package has actually caught my attention and I think it is the best deal they have so far! So, if this has got your interest too, please visit the VIE Hotel website.

Types of milk that is not suitable for babies and young children

For under 1 year old:

Whole cows’ milk- is not suitable as a main drink until your baby is one year old. The reason for this as I was told by a health visitor is that it does not contain sufficient iron and other nutrients to the baby’s needs.

Goats’ and sheep’s milk and milk based on rice or oats- these are also not suitable for under 1 year old as they do not contain much iron and other nutrients to keep a baby healthy. Providing they are pasteurised, they can be use once a baby is one year old.

For under 2 years old:

Simi-skimmed milk- is not suitable for children under 2, but can be introduced from 2 years if a child is a good eater and has a varied diet. The main reason for this is that there is less fat, calories and vitamin A found in Simi-skimmed milk.

Under 5 years old:

Skimmed milk- is not suitable for children under 5 because, because toddlers need lots of energy from the food they eat, and skimmed milk has less in it.
