Rehab Only Helps when Person Admits to Problem

When your teen is in trouble with drugs or alcohol, it is important to find a great adolescent rehab program. Unfortunately, a program alone won’t bring the change that needs to come from inside and without. A good program will provide the tools that a person needs to make the required changes, but addiction is a tough thing to beat, and for that there are several things that need to be put into place before the person can see the world for what it is and not for what he or she perceives it to be.

Old Habits Are Like Bruce Willis

Old habits die hard. For an addict to have a chance to end addiction, the underlying causes and the triggers for that addiction need to be removed. This may sound easy, but asking a person to get rid of his or her support system is like asking that person to give up oxygen. People need to feel connected to others. When that connection doesn’t happen or only happens when drugs are involved, the addiction supplies those feelings and needs that are missing from that person’s life.

The Problem

You may not know how your teen got involved in drugs, and you may blame yourself. However, what you need to know is that blame never helps solve a problem. Only an honest assessment of what the problem is can lead to a solution. Too often, people look at drugs as the problem. The reality is that they are only a symptom of something else going on.

The Road to Hell

You may have the best of intentions, but you cannot change a person. Only he or she can change him or herself. Finding a great Adolescent Rehab can only be helpful after the person has admitted and truly believes that there is a problem that needs to be solved. Until that admission comes, he or she is destined to fall back into drug use and rehab much like what Lindsay Lohan has done every time the court has ordered her into rehab. Once the person looks to change, the hard part comes.

Dr. Seuss Thing 1 and Thing 2 Children's Costume Review

My daughter’s school celebrates the International Day of the Book or world book day yearly and during the said event, every child will come to school dress up as their favorite book character. So, on this coming world book day, I got my daughter the Thing 1-2 costume from the famous Dr. Seuss book, the cat in the hat!

The costume is called The Dr. Seuss Thing 1-2, mainly because your child can wear the costume as either Thing 1 or Thing 2! Depending on which number you want to stick on the front, as these numbers has a small Velcro dots on it which easily affix into the jumpsuit.  Yes it is a jumpsuit and you will only get one with two detachable numbers!

The jumpsuit is made out of soft polyester material and in a bright red in color. Its fabric is very nice and soft on the skin, and it is not itchy! However my little girl has a different say about the wig as some of the fiber gets onto her face, but nothing serious as this sort of thing can be easily fix by just cutting a few of the fibers on the front of the wig or put a little smear of gel and style it upwards. Apart from that it is a lovely bright blue color wig and it completes the character look!

As of sizing, I ordered a size small for my 6 year old and it fitted perfect with a room underneath for a cardigan or a jacket for colder days. I think this costume is really cute and it would look fabulous on either girl or boy. I would highly recommend this costume as it is well worth the money and you can get it at a rock bottom price from Hope this review helps, good Luck!
